One option is to scrape all the mp3s from hymnal.net

Music in the Hymnal App options:

  1. Play them all ourselves Pros: Organic, high quality, completely self contained Cons: Take a long time, need people willing.

  2. Scrape off another website Pros: Quick and easy Cons: Potential legal issues... (big red flag)

  3. Embed youtube videos/audio Pros: Don’t need to create content, youtube vids are kind of open Cons: Not every song has youtube videos, introduces another dependency

  4. Generate Music programmatically Pros: Once going, can automate it. Could just be 1 note melodies. Cons: Potentially really hard, also probably no spirit in the music.
