Families Activation / Data Import

I manually imported families and persons (by family). Everything looks pretty good so far, except I am having problems activating families. Each one is deactivated and pressing "Activate this family" has no effect. Is there a field that I can turn on? I don't see anything in family_fam except a "deactivated_date" (which is blank for all those I checked).

Yes or maybe, because I did not use the import module. I didn't know how it handled family phone numbers vs. person phone numbers, so I bypassed your import module and imported directly to mysql in two passes. First I imported families, checked it for proper key propagation and then persons with another check for key propagation.

I did miss some items that I thought I would be able to add later, like member, member date, friend date, etc. There are also other items like group membership, volunteer opportunities that I'm moving from an MSAccess db.

Perhaps this should get labeled under technical documentation and you could document how family activation gets handled in the db.
