2 issues on cPanel based hosting #7056

I have a similar issue but with version 5.8.0 It detects two problems at initial run:

  1. ChurchCRM File Integrity Check
  2. Mod Rewrite or Equivalent My host is hostpinnacle.co.ke and I am using cPanel I have tried to ignore the errors as someone here suggested but then it just gives me a blank page. Can someone help? Thank you.

@Sans-cod:

  1. That is because cPanel modifies .htaccess, and unfortunately ChurchCRM is currently coded to flag such changes.
  2. On some cPanel setups the combination of Apache and PHP circumvents all the current mod_rewrite checks.

Both of these tests are false flags in this case.

I have the same issue on my hosting, and I had to switch off the integrity test.

The blank page is a separate issue. Is there anything in your log files?

@respencer, there is nothing in my log files. Is there any fix for this issue that you can suggest?

Not right now. I'll prioritize the issues we have in common, and then we can see if the other one still pops up for you.

Thank you so much for all your work. I really appreciate this. I see that the changes have been committed to ChurchCRM Master 20hrs ago. But the assets file still reads that the latest changes were made last month. Could this mean that the download file under assets doesn't have the changes done to resolve the issue with shared hosting? Should I then wait a little more to download the files with the committed changes? Thank you.

The changes will only go out with our next release.
