Voice search scans U.S. Netflix catalog instead of local #37

Android TV voice search does not seem to query the Netflix app for results but instead searches the U.S. catalog all by itself. Needless to say that search results are not correct for other countries.

When voice searching The Big Bang Theory for example, Android TV only finds the pay item via Google Play, but not the free one via Netflix, even though the show is available here in Austria:

When using the remote to input the search term instead of voice, the result is correct:

So search results only seem to be wrong for voice search, searching the U.S. Netflix catalog instead of the local one. How do I know that? Because voice search finds items that are only available in the U.S., like for example Doctor Strange or Parks and Recreation. When selecting those items, Netflix tells me that they are not available in my country which is correct as those are only available in the U.S.

Android TV country and language/speech settings are correct. The voice search results are wrong for both, Google Now and Google Assistant.

After a factory reset or deleting the cache of the Google app for Android TV, it seems to take several days for voice search to learn the right country after which the correct local Netflix results are pulled.
