Mute button has to be pressed multiple times to unmute #5

When connecting a Teufel Cinebar 52 THX via HDMI-ARC and controlling volume via HDMI-CEC, the mute button has to be pressed several times in order to unmute, depending on the audio format (passthrough vs. non-passthrough).

Here is what seems to happen from an AVR point of view at each button press when trying to unmute in case of outputting decoded PCM audio (so no passthrough involved):

Mute button press (1): AVR receives PCM stream again, mute is still ON though > no audio Mute button press (2): mute is OFF but PCM stream to the audio device is stopped again > no audio Mute button press (3): mute is OFF and PCM stream is received again > finally sound is coming out again

For Dolby audio via passthrough, the mute button has to be pressed twice in order to unmute.

This is the case for the internal DTV player and several apps that I tried (like Kodi a.s.o.).
