The BRAVIA typically stores individual picture settings for each picture mode for SDR and HDR. Brightness can for example be set to 35 for SDR and to Max for HDR. Depending on the played content, the correct Brightness is set. This however does not work for many other settings like Contrast, Black Adjust, Color, Smooth Gradation, Live Color a.s.o.
Example:
In Custom picture mode, Live Color can be used to brighten the HDR picture for daytime viewing. However, when adjusting Live Color to High for HDR, the value is also stored for the SDR preset.
