For the moment Plex DVR requires Plex Pass which I do not have and do not intend to buy (I am using Kodi at the moment), also Plex documentation is so sparse that it is very unlikely that I will "pair" this plug-in with Plex DVR 😞
I have bough life time version. :-) And I want to try to convert all media from my home to the Plex. I like more Plex then Kodi as for design and control. Do you know about some solution how to stream from Ubuntu server IPTV?
TVHeadend is a well known IPTV broadcating solution fol Linux, other would be Xtream Codes but I am not sure what platforms they support.
As for design, Kodi has skins for that, however lacks the ability to access my media from anywhere, that's the only shortcoming for me, and that's why I am keeping my eye on Emby which being open source still costs same as Plex for lifetime subscription... going a bit off-topic here 😄
Yea, I was thinking about Emby. But I have chosen Plex because of better environment. But I can see now that Emby made huge progress. I will try suggested app for Linux and I will let you know. ;)
If you make it compatible to detect it like IPTV you can record via Plex DVR. What about it? Something like virtual tv tuner.
What I really miss are two things:
Different IPTV .m3u ---> your app ---> Plex DVR ---> TV program + TV recording
Plex DVR
