I have HumbleBundle and GOG newsletter for my GMail.
(don't sure whether I can post a links from there, since they compounded with my id or something)
Their links have a peculiar tracking&redirection system, to get to target page, you (ie browser) must process all these redirects.
When I click a link, it opens in new tab, then CleanLinks does it work, so redirection chain fails.
Assume I don't want to bother with rule creation, just disable cleaning for one time.
But.
Disabling CL for gmail tab doesn't work since links are being opened in new tabs.
Link copy&paste into other "CL preliminarily disabled" tab doesn't work, seems target page checks the referrer.
So I have to either to create a rule, or turn an extension off via about:addons
That’s an interesting request, I’ve run into this issue too at times. I think we can know which tab initiated a new tab/window opening so this should be doable.
