leader.ex, error case shows reason #10

It could be used to identify a problem in an unexpected finishing case.

For me, it was useful to identify a typo when I was trying the code.

Thank you once again, this will be out with version 0.2.1 - now I just need to figure out how to cherry-pick this change to another 11 branches :smile:
