Not sure I understand what ur sayin...when u click new program it creates a new file called new program.txt so when u save it should save to that...

I think this will reproduce the problem.
In IDE, click New Program, add something there to distinguish it, and click save or save as.
Put a name in.
Go back and look, you have a file called "code template.xml" which has the code you just typed in, and your file with the name you just typed in has //Program Description in it's file and that's it.

Resolved. I was passing in the wrong filename to save under when new button was clicked. I pushed the fix. Should be good now. Let me know
