Nice case, but you should provide the editable sources if you want to encourage true open-source community like values. This is very hard to improve upon as exported models.

The source editable 3D files are already available and contained in the STEP file here @unixunion

To me, STEP files are a exchange format, not a "source". they contain no diagrams, or variables, or any of the design source. I would for example design stuff in onshape, or f360. And the original format is much more editable than using STEP.
