Automatically water the soil if dry for too long

As Kirstin I want the plant to automatically water the soil to have a moist plant when I am away for a long time.

AC The soil stays moist even if I am away from home for more than two weeks.

UAT

• The watering of the plant starts not immediately after the soil is considered dry, because Kirstin should get a chance to water the soil on her own.
• The watering of the plant just gives so much water to prevent a flooded home.

• [x] Define a tolerance moisture which is below the moisture that "switches on" the dryness warning LED
• [x] Before performing the self watering action check if the soil is now moist again. Maybe the soil was watered just minutes ago. We want to prevent a flood in Kirstins house.
• [x] Check how long we have to water the soil to give some adequate amount of water to the soil

Pseudo Code

• Within the currently running interpretation of the analogInput value we check if the soil is now urgently dry
• When the soil is urgently dry we store a global variable that a watering action is needed
• In the loop() we constantly check if a watering action is needed but we only come to action if the soil is urgently dry. Otherwise we just switch the WateringPIN to LOW.
• If a watering action is needed: store the current millis() to set the timer for the watering action.
• The watering action only takes place as long as the watering duration interval is not over.
• Alternatively the watering action stops if the moisture of the soil is again high enough.
• So it is ether the timer or the moisture of the soil that stops the watering action in the loop()
• After the watering action we might need to perform a new moisture measurement

The grey pot at the bottom holds the water for the watering action. The water pump sits in the water in the grey pot at the bottom.

A drilled hole in the plate on which the pot with the actual plant sits on provides a water overflow protection. Water that flows trough the pot of the plant can be used for watering.
