Updated Wifi and other settings #9

Pulled some of the esp8266 code, updated wifi settings to keep it running longer. please verify my changes and see if you get good results

Thanks for submitting this. Unfortunately, replacing all of the Wifi code isn't something I want to do. There are some other useful changes in here that I can probably merge into the master though.

I did just merge another PR that resolves some other bugs related to freezing. It also adds some new things to the interface for calibration of add-on boards.
