Description

for cimc, mso, apic we are able to create backup using automation, but the only part of our ACI environment is Nexus Dashboard, which is pretty "old fashioned" to create a backup. Hope there is a possibility to get more modules.

Hi @RonaldBlom, thanks for creating this issue and letting us know which use case you are looking for.

Currently the API for the backup capabilities as not been published yet.

As a guideline, we want to make sure the APIs we are using for modules are officially published and are stable across new releases before we start building Ansible modules on top of it.

Once the API for a specific action is published (appears in the official API user documentation) we will start publishing those modules.

Let me work internally to see how fast we can get the backup APIs published.

This repo is just yet another example of Cisco not taking their customers seriously. We need tools that will enable users to start automating without having to build things from scratch. Having a feature complete ansible collection would be nice.
