Now that pretty much all icons have fallback theme, would it be worth considering allowing users to create their own themes for separate upload to workshop?
Rough sketch of workflow:
Create theme -> makes new folder in local mod/asset staging folder
Some way to list applicable folders (both local staging and workshop)
Button to open folder in explorer/finder
Small metadata file in folder -> theme name, description, etc.
User adds correctly named icons to the folder (anything else ignored)
Some way to preview the changes in-game
Then, in content manager, the user can upload to workshop. TMPE would intercept the upload and tag it (similar to how IMT / CAL / Theme Mixer 2 / etc. work). Could also override the "preview image" thing = show the icons and user choses which to use as preview image.
We could also consider moving some of the existing icon themes out of the mod and in to separate packs to greatly reduce filesize of the main mod.
