Any update on this? I just updated to 1.1 and it does the same thing. The config completely resets on restart. I can't make any changes to it.

Will be fixed in next build. In the meantime you can stop your server, edit the config.yml, then start server and it will take the new values.

Hi i tried stopping and rewriting however it doesn't take any action in game the price is set to default even if i chng it with stopping the server

Once you make a blacksmith the settings for that blacksmith are saved in the citizens saves.yml. the defaults only apply to newly created blacksmith.
Tht is what i did however it didnt change

My config.yml resets back to default on every restart. I have the latest version of blacksmith.jar downloaded today (1.1). I edited the file and added all types, restarted it was back to default file. I can recreate it consistently. I'm not sure what other info to include. It's working fine other than charging too little because of this.
One other small item you may know but when doing the /trait blacksmith is case sensetive /trait Blacksmith didn't work (trait not found I believe).
I have several Sentry guards that are working fine also. Using the latest snapshot of Citizens 2.0.
