A few things that were in the revisions module but are now being pushed separately as that's now a contrib project.
Sends the previous entity state on _hook_entityupdated (going to be useful for other applications beyond revisions)
Gives each entity an adminLinks object on view extended by hook_frontend_entity_links so that other modules can add to the edit/delete links present on entity pages. Edit and delete themselves should be moved into this eventually to make edit tabs easier.
