We should make Webform Version 4.x a requirement in the cmrf_webform.info file, so that the module is not installable with older Webform versions.

597fabb04f2283ebbf697cc531d240d3e4ea1c63 adds the version requirement according to the docs, but is untested.

This has already been released with 7.x-0.12.
