As a site user, I want improved UX for the residential facilities map, so that I can 1) see how this function works, and 2) find facilities near on a map (whether or not they are "near me"). #117
At present, if the user's zip code as entered in their profile is not sufficiently near a residential facility, the map page simply loads with the message "no facilities found near [user's zip code]". It has the effect of appearing broken. Rob discussed having a zip code input field on this page, so that user could query the map with a new zip right there. While this would improve UX somewhat, it's still tantamount for fishing in the dark for a zip that will make the map appear and show something. Could we list usable zips right on the page? Is that what #113 “Document usable zip codes for testing facilities map” is for?
