Case Study 2 - Standardizing Crime Records in the country
https://thewire.in/law/supreme-court-foreign-citations-study This study is an interesting one where the researcher has collected data from judgements of 43 countries and analysed them. They divided the reference period into two parts (2009-2014 and 2014-2020). The study concluded that there has been a clear decline in the number of times international judges cite Indian judgments in their own rulings by identifying the frequency and pattern of citations of the Supreme Court of India's judgments.

The study was an exploratory survey that collected 25210 responses from general population from almost all states and union territories of India. “Research indicates that opinions of citizens on death penalty vary according to factors such as demographic variables (like age, gender, and education qualification), social values, and beliefs.”
