Is it better to give/return Session instead of Pane?

currently, ChatCommand methods returns Panes that could be changed. Isn't it better to return Session and replace old one?

Pros:

• More unified interface of ChatCommand
• Maybe, it's more functional language like(I dhon't know)

cons:

• Could be slower(?)
