Platoon signatures #59

There's already a thread regarding this, but I'm open to ideas and suggestions for how to make this as useful as possible. There definitely seems to be some interest in personalized platoon signatures, but what should we offer, data wise? Or is name, position, rank enough?

If anyone is interested in creating a template and/or image, I can explain how they need to be built. PHP GD is pretty straightforward and easy to play with. Here was a concept image I put together, and I'll also put together the PHP portion so you can see how it would be accomplished.
