8 years ago I think the best way to do this is to provide ways to filter the data through start and end dates, by action type, and possibly by platoon.
Separate reports can be done that mimic this, but rather than do a bunch of granular work, we should just provide filters to provide various kinds of data. That way you can really do whatever you want.
Per discussion yesterday, things I would like to see available: functionality to pick and choose dates Sort by division and platoon (division might not be necessary) Numbers for each squad leader or platoon: recruiting, removals, promotions
Not too interested in names but the numbers. How many did X LCpl remove this month vs what they brought in? Did they promote anyone within their platoon? Are they trending in the right direction? Same things for platoons as a whole.
Example 1: I would like to be able to pull individual reports for each platoon to be able to compared week to week and month to month on recruiting/removals and promotion changes.
Example 2: Individual reports on each squad leader, showing me their recruiting/removals and promotions over a given period chosen by the user.
exportable formats: csv, pdf and xlsx if its not difficult
