kvm_null_fn(), introduced by commit f922bd9bf33b ("KVM: Move MMU notifier's mmu_lock acquisition into common helper"), is going to be problematic. I am not sure what the solution is other than defining "NULL" functions for each individual type.

Some KVM fixes (pending) - unsure if there is a fix for this special case.

Should kvm_null_fn be a on_lock_fn_t (or a new empty function of type on_lock_fn_t be used rather than kvm_null_fn?

a new empty function of type on_lock_fn_t be used rather than kvm_null_fn

I suspect this is the right answer but I am not sure how that will work with the IS_KVM_NULL_FN macro.
