llvm-dev announcement

nickdesaulniers commented 3 years ago

This Thursday we will be the deadline for the CFPs.

We will formally accept/reject talks then (though I suspect we'll accept all submissions so far, all seem high quality). Then we will pick the keynote, pick time ranges, and schedule an order of talks.

nickdesaulniers commented 3 years ago

Thanks to all submitters for considering our venue for giving a talk. The CFP window is now closed. #21 is the final submission at the time of writing.

We'll be reviewing and accepting talks today; I suspect we'll be accepting all unless there's an egregious lack of info the submission. Then we'll work on scheduling; finalizing it may take a few iterations though.

EDIT: ok I'll allow one more @robotux (editing rather than adding another comment to hopefully minimize notification spam)

Hi @nickdesaulniers , I was about to submit a proposal as I was assuming the deadline would be at midnight. Is it really too late then?

nickdesaulniers commented 3 years ago

A tentative schedule has been published. #23 tracks issues for speakers.

The (Public) YouTube Link for tomorrow will be: https://youtu.be/UMDRAmmDBgM. Please do share this. I will add it to the readme. It is for attendees, but NOT SPEAKERS. (Speakers see https://github.com/ClangBuiltLinux/llvm-distributors-conf-2021/issues/23#issuecomment-920387849 for more info).

Thanks everyone for attending today. Please work reach out to speakers from their CFP issues linked from here. I'll update this thread once I've edited the YouTube Livestream recording (probably not this week, or next week, we'll see).

I've added the chapter timestamps to the recording of the livestream.
