Windows 7: User accounts with periods in their name can't install dependencies. #34

User accounts with periods in their name can't install dependencies. The popup never loads. Instead they just get a loading screen and nothing else.

  1. Make a windows 7 user account with a period in the name.
  2. Install the launcher.
  3. Open the Minecraft tab.
  4. The tab won't load. No error. Just a loading screen.

The expected behavior is the tab loads.
