Apps from android market on beagleboard-xm #151

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.is it possible to install apps available in the android market directly on
  beagleboard-xm ?

2. I want to use VLC Direct app available in the android market 

3. If above is not possible how to make beagleboard as server to stream video 
files ?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have ported android gingerbread on beagleboard-xm. I want to make beagleboard 
as server which will stream video files securely using SRTP(secure real time 
transport protocol) using wifi. I am newbie in this field and confused how to 
do it. Please give me the method to accomplish this.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Beagleboard-xm Revc, android gingerbread

If you can find the apk for VLC Direct, then you can install it on BB-xm. It 
would not be possible to download apps from Android market directly.
