Implement File Transfer GUI MVP #3

Add a simple GUI for transferring files.

[x] Add widgets
[x] Either disallow resizing the window, or arrange widgets responsively
[x] Remember settings across relaunches
[x] Trigger sending and receiving data
[x] Display subprocesses' errors
[x] Disable tar compression to minimize attack surface
[x] Add a progress bar
[x] Allow cancelling a transfer
[x] User-friendly error messages for invalid IP addresses
[x] Preliminary testing on Ubuntu and Windows
[x] On Linux, etc., start in the appropriate directory (e.g., Downloads)
[x] Terminate subprocesses when the application is quit
[x] Option to repeatedly receive
[x] Add a test function, ensuring data can be sent and received

At this point, the GUI MVP is ready! I will migrate the remaining "nice to haves" into a new issue.
