The command I'm using is exactly "/map".
Normally this lists the options set on a map, but if the map name matches an option it either fails with the above permission error or actually toggles a "random" option.
ie: the command /map toggles the tree map option on a level called "tree".
I suggest /map tree show is supported to allow an "in full" version of the show the options command.
(And /map show for this level)
