Replace dashicons with material icons #225

Following discussion on Slack: https://classicpress.slack.com/archives/CCD6S4VPU/p1537149721000200, opening this issue to track feasibility of doing this, albeit probably for our own icon usage initially, while leaving themes and plugins alone.

Tbh I think replacing dashicons with other icons, be it material or something else is not a great idea. dashicons are used all over the place and by replacing them, we will instantly break a whole bunch of themes and plugins. They are used on both front- and backend, so please don't think lightly of replacing them.

If we want to break away from the use of dashicons, then the best we can do is to get our own set for the CP backend. Fontello was mentioned on Slack, The Noun Project could be another interesting source.

Should we move this issue to https://petitions.classicpress.net/ instead? Unlikely that we'll get to this for v1, in any case.

I think that if @KTS915 wants to pursue this, he can indeed open it on the petitions site and we can close it here :)
