1. Current Behavior

1.1. Description

When you are talented into Divine Aegis critical heals from Prayer of Mending do not apply Divine Aegis.

1.2. How to Reproduce

  1. Put points into Divine Aegis.
  2. Apply Prayer of Mending and get hit.
  3. Repeat until PoM crits.
  4. Note that you do not receive the Divine Aegis buff.

    2. Expected Behavior

    2.1. Description

I do not have definitive proof (video/screenshot/log) that PoM crits triggered DA during original Cata but I would assume it did unless proven otherwise. Video below shows DA proccing on a pom crit.

    2.2 Source Material

  5. A post from Wrath 3.2 saying Divine Aegis on PoM is operating strangely, implying that during original Wrath (as it did during WotLK classic) PoM triggered DA. I see no reason this would change without notes for Cata: https://www.wowhead.com/diablo-4-ptr/forums/topic/pom-aegis-113212
  6. I skimmed through the entire EJ disc priest compendium and saw no mention of the (lack of) interaction between PoM and DA. https://web.archive.org/web/20130921080235/http://elitistjerks.com/f77/t110244-cataclysm_discipline_priest_compendium/p59/
  7. This spreadsheet includes DA in its PoM calculation (Spells!C14). This is only v1.4 but I can't find the "latest" v1.9 sheet that was posted in the EJ thread. Cataclysm_Healing_Priest_Theorycrafting_Spreadsheet_v_1.4.xls
  8. Post 44 in this thread mentions they received DA when a disc priest cast PoM on them. It links a video where you can see the DA buff appear at 0:48 https://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/788248-Prayer-of-Mending-and-Echo-of-Light/page3?p=9426055&viewfull=1#post9426055 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXYJa-4dtjI&t=47
