1. Atonement is calculating crit heal delivery from center of hit box while non-crit calculates from edge. Basically on big bosses whenever you crit the atonement goes into the void. This was fixed in the 4.3 patch back in the day, but the current behavior is the old version. Patch note from 4.3: [Atonement] will now account for the target enemy's combat reach when calculating proper range, enabling it to be used on large creatures such as Ragnaros and Ala'kir. https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Patch_4.3.0
