For your information, i will only do this for the rank 1 slots, for 40 slots, 28 are taken by unique players. 12 by their alts. Your title attribution system is biaised due to the easy way to get a fully gear character and you need to adapt it if you want to keep players and equity in your ladder. For me, having alt is not a problem for me, bit counting them in the cutoff is. If you dont think about an adaptation of this system, you will lose players and so, arena activities.
Second of all, how is that possible, that someone who is cheating the whole season is not getting ban and gets his Gladiator title, meanwhile I and others players report them through your report mail with blatant proves. How is a player, cheating since the season 5 of wotlk, banned season 5 to season 7 for that, and dodging season 8 and 9 ban still playing the game all of the season and probably turned off his cheat the last day is maybe the reason why you dont catch him ? This cheater isnt a lonely case, there are a few players cheats the whole season and they didnt get catch. This kind of players are ruining the ladder, boosting partners in crime.
You need to pay more attention with 3rd party programs user and macro’s exploiter such as the well-known ClearTarget() macro exploit in wotlk.
This kind of macro is still working with another code and they hide it with Macro/oolKit Extend option. Players can combine AHK + Exploit macros to automatize a lot of things.
To resume, if you want to keep the PVP scene alive in Cataclysm Classic, you must adapt the system with the changes you’ve done and to be more focus about cheaters who are literally ruining the game and makes the player leave.
