Description
This is my understanding of the current Elmalon VOA loot table: 10man: Deadly S5 offpieces, S5 boot/bracer, T8 from ulduar 10man 25man: Furious S6 offpieces, S6 boot/bracer, T8.1 from ulduar 25man (higher ilvl)
ATM the offpiece drops are pretty trash.
In current WOTLK, Blizzard removed most rating requirement from offpieces such that they are dramatically easier to acquire. For example, back in the day, you needed 2000 rating to get the honor cloak. Now, you don't need any rating for a cloak AT ALL. In fact, the only rating you need is 1000, in order to get the belt/shoes, not a tall order. Moreover, anyone actually trying to PVP will already have acquired offpieces from grinding honor. In essence, this offpiece gear is kind of a slap in the face to anyone trying to get something useful.
I suggest that this offpiece drop be changed to any form of other drop, either tier or main-set pvp. It could even be removed in favor of something small like 25% chance to get an additional "actually desired" loot. Just make it anything else besides honor offpiece gear.
