There are clear energy datasets on here, but we could really do with listing the whole lot. The example_dataset folder has those datasets that are clearly energy related.

I've run over the data once but there's a good argument for doing a second pass and incorporating some more refinements.

The NYC Open Data portal has been updated and has more data. I just ran over the Dataset (csv) entries. However all the different entries are really datasets.

Maps can be exported as KML, Shapefile etc, so should really be listed.

External links should be followed and parsed (example: https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Transportation/MTA-Data/mmu8-8w8b) That'll take more work than just scraping for entries classed as datasets.
