ClearURLs is an add-on based on the new WebExtensions technology and will automatically remove tracking elements from URLs to help protect your privacy.
After installation of Google Drive for Desktop, the software prompts the user to sign-in to a Google account with the browser. ClearURLs interferes with the linking operation and after the prompt to enter a login and password to Google account, an error message "Something went wrong, Try again" repeatedly appears after numerous attempts to sign in. The error message persists if Google Drive is uninstalled and reinstalled and computer restarted even to Administrator account. After some troubleshooting on Edge v104 and sequentially disabling extensions (uBlock Origin first, then Cookie AutoDelete), only by disabling ClearURLs did the error message not pop up and linking of Google Drive to Google account was able to complete. Windows 10 22H2 OS.
Also, the options menu for ClearURLs is too small cutting off text. Can the next version open the options menu into a whole webpage rather than a small popup window?
