Seen both in Fiji and Micro-Manager (on Windows): when pressing ctrl-S, a file browser shows up, from then on the whole application freezes, only way to exit is to force quite using the Task Manager.
Any ideas which parts of the code pop up that save box, and how to prevent it from happening?
