'Init HID Devices...' is stuck like that forever

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Trying to play any game with Nintendont
2.Using my current PS3 Controller, which is compatible, though.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 That the game loads. I see 'Init HID Devices...' instead.

What revision of Nintendont are you using? On what system Wii/Wii U?
The 1.43 version. System is the Wii U.

Please provide any additional information below.

PS3 Controller is a Dual Shock Sixaxis but I'm using my Wii U Pro Controller 
cable instead, as the one that comes with the PS3 controller doesn't work.

I had a similar issue where the ps3 controller would start vibrating and not 
sync.  The problem seemed to go away when I deleted nincfg from the sd card.  
My ps3 controller worked fine again.  The next time you load the game it will 
create a new nincfg file automatically.
