also three finger dragging doesn't select text, only drags windows #9

The three fingers drag should work whatever you drag over text or a windows title bar. Maybe the text you are trying to select is into a UWP application (#2), that is not supported yet.

You should be able to select text into the path field in explorer, or text in firefox or chrome.
