Dont work in the new version of google chrome and with Firefox Developer

Chrome Version 75.0.3770.142 (64-bits) Firefox Developer Edition 69.0beta (64-bits)

Sorry I must have missed this thread, are you getting a red "X" mark when you try to sync? Or has the issue corrected itself?

I can't sync from Firefox Standard Edition 72.0.2 (64 bits) to Chrome 79.0.3945.130 (64 bits) and back. I'm using 0.7.0 (alpha) and always getting a red X. Why?

@ajkain Are you using Windows as well? I have those exact versions of Firefox and Chrome myself with no issue, so I suspect that there may be a special character or url in your bookmarks that one or the other browser doesn't like. Such examples might include browser-specific bookmarks (like chrome:// or about: urls), or even the language setting in your browser could prevent the sync from succeeding. I have implemented some workarounds for these cases but I don't think I've addressed all possible causes
