A floodlight on the roof at the center of a vehicle is blocked by the boards and curtains of the vehicle "below".

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install a floodlight on the center of the vehicle.
install curtains on all non-board structure below (hatches, doors and windshields)
Wait until night and check how light is case from flood light based on curtains being opened or closed (this can be made easier with door motors and an electronic control unit on an exterior space on the vehicle.
Expected behavior
Since the flood light is on the roof I expect its light to not be blocked by the walls and curtains inside the vehicle and below it.

For me this is problematic because I am attempting to operate the vehicle at night with curtains closed using a camera system. Vision is limited to the front and back with headlights and would like 360 coverage without the power draw of individual headlights around the vehicle.
