Magiclysm: Shapeshifter Attunement ability suggestion #50723

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Thematically "Shapeshifter" implies the ability to change shape to adapt to current needs.

To fit this I was thinking about a possible ability for shapeshifter that can be activated to give a persistent changeable buff

Maybe under the "Mutations"?

Maybe takes sometime to take effect or has a cooldown so it can be used adaptively but requires consideration (can't be constantly quickswapped)

I'm thinking something competitive with, but less strong than the permanent buffs offered by other attunements (like the +3 attribute vs the +5 that a small number of attunements seem to give)

Describe the solution you'd like

Some possible options the player could choose from:

Maybe

Describe alternatives you've considered

maybe 2 mutations so you can choose one stat and one utility buff. Like a permanent buff that matches (and overrides) the magus attribute spells and one "Aspect of [animal]" for utility

maybe dropping the stat buffs but give stronger utilities that fit stuff the attribute would cover indirectly (like unarmed damage, dodge, carry strength, speed, view distance, etc)

maybe increasing the strength of the buffs but adding downsides to each (like "farsighted" to eagle vision, myopic to owl vision, slower movement to ox, etc)

Additional context
