It'd make sense too; shooters w/ the shooting range, Martial artists could know of dojos, gunsmiths & handloaders would know of the nearest gun store, & the outdoorsmen could know of some good fishing spots.
Perhaps it could also be applied to certain professions; The EMSes (Police, Firefighters, & EMT) would know of the nearest emergency services, & the army professions would know of the nearest base (Probably not for balance reasons).

So I noticed that new characters now know of the nearest city/town. Neat!
That made me think: Shouldn't a character with a skating hobby know where the nearest skating park is? And a character who has boxing as a hobby should know of a boxing gym, right?
And shouldn't everyone know where the nearest grocery store is?
Solution you would like.
It would be really cool if knowledge of certain landmarks, depending on hobbies and/or professions, could be added to the game.
Of course, one should not only know where it is, but also the route to get there (maybe not from the starting point, but from the city/town which is known at the start).
Describe alternatives you have considered.
Maybe hobbies and/or professions could add maps of certain kinds to the starting gear.
