[MoM] Mindhunter scenario #73518

Summary

Mods "[MoM] Mindhunter scenario"

Purpose of change

Now that we have the hunted forever scenario, what if that scenario was the origin story for a blob lieutenant?

Describe the solution

Edit the Relentless Hulk so it gains more and more psionics each time it dies. It starts with nothing, so the Hunted scenario is unchanged (other than changing the name to Mindhunter). However, every two deaths, it gains a new power.

**The list is** - 2 Deaths: Hardened Skin, slight bash/cut/stab armor boost - 4 Deaths: Shock Touch, electrokinetic daze attack - 6 Deaths: Force Shove, telekinetic grab and pull you in - 8 Deaths: Sensory Deprivation, telepathic blinding attack - 10 Deaths: Momentum Alteration, 10% reduced physical damage and 10% boosted speed - 12 Deaths: Regeneration, vitakinetic enhancement of its natural regen - 14 Deaths, Burst of Speed, biokinetic enhancement of movement briefly - 16 Deaths: Thought-breaker, the null-zombie line ability to break concentration on maintained powers - 18 Deaths: Stutterstep, warping space to slow enemies' movements - 20 Deaths: Synaptic Blast, direct telepathic attack - 22 Deaths: Inertial Barrier, a telekinetic shield - 24 Deaths: Primal Fear, a telepathic attack that freezes the target in place. - 26 Deaths: Force Shove again, a ranged telekinetic throw - 28 Deaths: Weakness, a long-term vitakinetic disruption of the target's cellular function - 30 Deaths: Revivification, electrokinetic revival of nearby enemies.

I have more I can give it, but I figured 30 was a good stopping place.

Testing

Changed Nemesis_iteration around and let mindhunter knock me around the room a while.

It repeatedly did a "pull you in with telekinesis, punch you across the room, and then Burst of Speed to be right next to you again" combo, all the while telepathically blinding and assaulting the PC, exactly like a player would under those circumstances.

Good luck fighting it, everyone.

This alert is automatically generated. You can simply disregard if this is inaccurate, or (optionally) you can also add the new words to tools/spell_checker/dictionary.txt so they will not trigger an alert next time.

Hints for adding a new word to the dictionary * If the word is normally in all lowercase, such as the noun `word` or the verb `does`, add it in its lower-case form; if the word is a proper noun, such as the surname `George`, add it in its initial-caps form; if the word is an acronym or has special letter case, such as the acronym `CDDA` or the unit `mW`, add it by preserving the case of all the letters. A word in the dictionary will also match its initial-caps form (if the word is in all lowercase) and all-uppercase form, so a word should be added to the dictionary in its normal letter case even if used in a different letter case in a sentence. * For a word to be added to the dictionary, it should either be a real, properly-spelled modern American English word, a foreign loan word (including romanized foreign names), or a foreign or made-up word that is used consistently and commonly enough in the game. Intentional misspelling (including eye dialect) of a word should not be added unless it has become a common terminology in the game, because while someone may have a legitimate use for it, another person may spell it that way accidentally.
