We can already make notes on the overmap, as well as write in our diary. It would be really cool if we could select a map tile in the overmap and make visiting that overmap tile a mission while ingame. I feel like this would be simple and help when discovering many POIs at once, and support the largely self-directed nature of the game.
Also, if we see a creature, on the 'x' look menu, if we could mark and track that creature's position to avoid losing track of it. This could help when wanting to get revenge on a creature we need to run from, or for tracking game in the wilderness. Perhaps there might even be a duration on the mission based on survival skill or something?
Solution you would like.
Hit a hotkey while overmap cursor is on a tile.
A new mission is created that has a name like "travel to: x" where x is the name of the overmap tile.
In the look menu, hover over a creature and press a hotkey (say, 'k') and a new mission is created with a name like "track down: x" where x is the name of the creature.
