This really needs to be fixed, right now, they used to act like the futile fighter & attack anything in sight, but now they run from anything & anyone
That moment when we could've just walked away from the slimes but Liam wants to run around and die
Describe the bug
If there is a horde or a single strong enemy in sight/nearby, or a fire nearby, npcs stop following you and begin to panic, running side to side until they are grabbed by enemies or they run far enough away from the fire. This makes it impossible to get NPCs out of the city or escape the horde together.
If you increase their bravery to the maximum via debug, the panic attacks become much less frequent, but in the city they still continue to panic and rush into the arms of the horde.

Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
Npcs do not panic while they are near you or during a panic they run away from danger rather than towards death
or allow them to be dragged along with you like pets so that they don’t run away
