HUB should not reverse-engineer items it already uses or items with NANOFAB_REPAIR flag #75314

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Reverse-engineering is very time consuming, and all points in #74962 are very rational, but i believe #75033 got merged without considering two things:

  1. HUB uses RM13 armor. Just look at their security leader. Even if it wasnt their own product, they had months before cataclysm to understand this thing.
  2. All items made in nanofabricator have a "holographic patch that reflects the light oddly. It was constructed in a nanofabricator and can be repaired in one". Player can repair such thing almost instantly when using nanofab. Why HUB cant do it same way? While normal items, like plasma guns, get this flag only when they were produced from nanofab template, RM13 and phase immersion suit are ALWAYS spawning with this flag.

Solution you would like.

Probably revert #75033? Or most of it

Describe alternatives you have considered.

IDK

Additional context

I noticed that if you raid HUB you will not find working nanofabricator down there. But the quests you are doing for them, like bringing nanofab templates from collapsed tower clearly sugest that they have one and are using it. The HUB map should get changed to spawn functional nanofab, some templates and nanomaterial canisters

With this, couldn't we ask them to print things for us? That'd make sense, if we brought along some nanomaterial canisters + an additional cost. (Perhaps they may be interested in them from a trading standpoint?)

That would be nice. And while I saw some people being concerned that this would lock-up nanofab behind one faction, IMO you could access it in two ways:

Or go to a lab that has one (Or Augustmoon w/ AFS)
