[MoM] Transporter remote lists deconstructed beacon as destination #75724

Open Terrorforge opened 4 weeks ago

Terrorforge commented 4 weeks ago

Describe the bug

Earlier in the game, I moved my base and deconstructed the beacon I had originally placed at "The Lodge", eventually placing it in a bunker I dubbed "The Black Castle." When I finally had enough remotes to burn one just to see how it worked, I saw that the old base was still listed. However, on choosing it as the destination, the remote burns out but no teleportation occurs.

Versions and configuration

Additional context

Are you supposed to have to activate the remote twice? Activating it once puts it into "searching", but then I have to activate it again to bring up a menu and select "Activate the remote" and then wait ~10 minutes for it to transport me.

This isn't MoM-specific, it's a function of the way the translocation menu works--it doesn't know to remove unavailable destinations until you try to go there and they're unavailable.

Are you supposed to have to activate the remote twice?

This was the only way to make it actually draw power while searching IIRC.
