Use heavy ballistic vest for a new heavy mercenary Coat #78039

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The mercenary Coat is a ballistic vest sewed into a jacket, which has been reinforced with Kevlar panels- but you can only use standard US ballistic Vests for it.

Solution you would like.

I would enjoy it if there was a version of this which would use the Heavy ballistic vest, which you can attach shoulder, neck, and groin guards to improve coverage. Probably more encumbering and heavier- perhaps the armor addons are stitched on and can't be removed?

Describe alternatives you have considered.

I edited the title so it was a bit more clear. Just FYI

How do you put a plate carrier in a coat in the first place? Is this not a full sized plate or does the coat somehow close on the side?

I love the Merc Coat already, but I really didn't want to drop that ballistic addons, so this is a perfect option

I guess Going up the front left "corner" of the stomach, up to the breast, then crossing over. It'd work pretty well. maybe a buckle strap to keep it together better?

I'm extremely skeptical about this whole concept, is anyone actually doing this IRL? AFAIK when you have integrated carriers/coats it's more around the coat wrapping around and possibly attaching to the standalone carrier than integrating it into the coat directly. Carriers have straps and buckles and such for a reason, they're carrying a lot more weight than a coat is expected to.

You should probably check w/ https://github.com/bombasticSlacks, he's the one who made 'em.
