many small improvements

This PR does a few things

• correct small bugs
• to help with robustness, computes effective saturation using the max of the water content and the residual water content + a small number. This prevents us from taking a root of a negative number. Before, when this would occur, we would get an error. Now, we leave the state alone, but adjust the negative number to be slightly positive. If the negative number arises from small numerical error, this will help.
• updates gitignore
• fixes something that changed with climacore in domain.jl
• move the EarthParameterSet struct definition into LandHydrology.jl, rather than having it be in each driver file (!)
